Lion-Maru G (Raionmaru Jī) is a Japanese tokusatsu series that began airing from October 1, 2006 to November 24, 2006 in Japan, lasting 13 episodes. It is the third part in the Lion-Maru trilogy, following Kaiketsu Lion-Maru and Fuun Lion-Maru. The "G" is short for 'Ghetto'. This series follows the story of the reincarnated Lion-Maru and Tiger Joe from the original Kaiketsu Lion-Maru. The story is set in the year 2011 in Neo-Kabukichō, a fictitious version of the real red light district of Shinjuku, Tokyo.

In the 30th century, time travel becomes illegal after a time paradox crisis. The Time Protection Department is established to watch for and stop time crimes. Four new enlistee cadets of the TPD are tricked by Don Dolnero and his gang into letting them time-travel to the year 2000 to commit various crimes. To protect history, the four cadets pursue them. There they encounter a severe problem: the Timeranger program requires five members for the first operation. They thus force a present-day martial artist, Tatsuya Asami, to join them, allowing them to become the Timerangers. Afterwards Tatsuya rents a building for them to live in and they start a small odd jobs business called Tomorrow Research to financially support themselves.

In the Hayate Way's Ninja Academy, three of its pupils aren't exactly fitting in. But because their sensei believes they have potential, he regularly spends the morning personally rigorously training them. While the other students are having their graduation ceremony, a group of evil space ninja known as the Jakanja infiltrate the school, killing most of the students. The school's sensei, Mugensai, turns himself into a hamster to evade his pursuers.

The trio is then taken to a secret base to become the legendary Hurricanegers to fight Jakanja. Later in the series, they must fight with the two ninja brothers of the Ikazuchi Way's Ninja Academy due to their individual schools' rivalries. With the aid of the mysterious Shurikenger, the two ninja groups set their rivalry aside and join forces to stop Jakanja.

Set in the years 2007-2010 (2049 in the U.S. dub) , giant monsters and conquering aliens start to appear, as was foretold by an apocalyptic prophecy about an uncontrollable chaos over the Earth. Facing the threat, the TPC (Terrestrial Peaceble Concert) is created, such as its branch, GUTS (Global Unlimited Task Squad). Through a holographic message in a capsule found by researchers, the GUTS gets knowledge about a golden pyramid built by an ancient civilization.

At the site, three statues of a race of giants who defended early human civilization on Earth about 30,000,000 years ago from Super-Ancient Monsters and other forces of darkness are found, but two of them are destroyed by the monsters Golza and Melba. The third one gains life from the spiritual energy of officer Daigo, descendant of the ancient race. Daigo and the remaining statue merge into a single being, made of light.

Shortly after defeating the two monsters, Daigo is revealed by the hologram of the prophecy that 30 million years in the past, a great evil that not even the giants could stop, destroyed the ancient civilization. The same evil reappears in the finale of the series, the Ruler of Darkness Ghatanothoa, and his servants, Gijera and Zoigar. Ghatanothoa defeats Ultraman with ease and turns him back into a statue, but the light of humanity is able to turn him into Glitter Tiga, giving him the power to defeat Ghatanothoa and save the Earth.

In college, Dai Sawamura deciphered the figures on the Nazca Plain in Peru. Impressed by this feat, the Galactic Union Police recruited the archaeologist and trained him to be Earth's third Space Sheriff, after which he was given the code name 'Shaider' in memory of an ancient warrior who defeated the villain Emperor Kubilai and brought down the Fuuma Empire 12,000 years ago. The empire, upon knowing the appointment of Dai as the new Shaider, plots to annihilate him in order to conquer Earth once again.

Den Iga, a forest patrolman was attacked by the monster "Buffalo Doubler" of space crime organization Makuu Empire in Mount Tsurugi and he was seriously injured in the process. He was helped by Space Sheriff Gavan who was visiting Mount Tsurugi in order to search for his father and assisted Den in undergoing medical treatment in Bird Planet.

Chief Com of the Galactic Union Patrol evaluates the courage which fought against the monster of Makuu Empire without flinching, and trains him to a Space Sheriff. He was given the code name of "Sharivan", and he returns to Earth with Chief Com in order to help Gavan in the case of the last decisive battle with Makuu Empire.

Uchuu Keiji Gavan - Complete

Earth is invaded by the Makuu Empire (literally "demon space"), led by Don Horror, who had first destroyed a space colony near Earth. Don Horror wants to dominate the whole universe, and the Earth represents an obstacle that he has to overcome, but not necessarily destroying it. To do this, Don Horror sends spaceships to create panic among humans. While the Makuu is trying to impose its domination on the blue planet, Space Sheriff Gavan, from the Galactic Union Patrol, arrives in his spaceship called the Dolgiran. He comes from the Bird Planet, the planet where Space Sheriffs are trained and where they are stationed while on call.

Gavan is asked to defend the Earth, which incidentally is his mother's planet of origin. Gavan is helped by Mimi, the daughter of Commander Qom, and is given the information by Qom, assisted by Marin on Bird his base planet. Gavan is now on Earth to defend it against Don Horror and his devilish schemes. He settles on Earth incognito using his actual human name, Retsu Ichijouji; and works at the Avalon Youth Club in Japan where he befriends children.

Thirteen Advent Card decks were created for thirteen Kamen Riders. They make Contracts with monsters from the mysterious Mirror World (Mirā Wārudo), a parallel dimension opposite to our own in which only the Kamen Riders can exist. The Riders draw on their monsters' strength in exchange for feeding them the life force of the creatures they destroy. The creator of the Advent Cards has only one rule: that there can be only one Kamen Rider. The others must be killed, and the sole victor will be granted a single wish. This is the Rider War.
